Tax Filing Requirements - 2023 year ends
2023 Corporate Tax Returns are required to be filed with the Guernsey Revenue Service for all Guernsey companies. The deadline for 2023 returns is 31 January 2025. After that date, penalities will be applied for late submissions.
The penalty regime is strict in Guernsey, with an immediate £300 applied. Subsequent penalties for corporate entities can accrue at £50 per day, with no theoretical maximum applicable.
It is extremely unlikley an appeal against late filing is successful.
At Avenue Trust Company Limited, we focus on drafting financial statements and tax returns through the year on a consistent basis to meet our clients' needs whilst ensuring there is sufficient time to submit them to the Guernsey Revenue Service. Where a client prepares their own financial statements we must receive them two months prior to the deadline - so in the case of 2023 year ended accounts, Avenue Trust Company must have a signed copy by the end of November.
Please get in touch should you need a Corporate Service Provider to assist you in your filing duties, or reach out to our sister company Lince Salisbury Limited, for accounting services.
